Visionaire

  • 2010

    Visionaire 2010 (issue #57, november 2009, 4,000 numbered copies) was curated by 52 influential figures from the fields of art, fashion and architecture. Each curator selected 7 artists for a total of 365 artists. Each artist contributed one image. All 365 images were presented in the format of an electronic calendar, featuring one image for each day of the year.

    The curators included:
    Independent, museum, and institutional curators Klaus Biesenbach (MoMA), Francesco Bonami (Whitney Biennial 2010), Massimiliano Gioni (New Museum), Mami Kataoka (Mori Art Museum), Hans Ulrich Obrist (Serpentine Gallery), Beatrix Ruf (Kunsthalle Zurich), and Nancy Spector (Guggenheim Museum); artists John Baldessari, Louise Bourgeois, Maurizio Cattelan, Ugo Rondinone, and Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin; contemporary art collectors Christian Boros, Guan Yi, Dakis Joannou; cultural icons including architects Zaha Hadid, Herzog & de Meuron; fashion designers Raf Simons, Marc Jacobs, Rei Kawakubo.
